Do you know this hotel...?

Hi everybody!

I'm an italian girl and in September I'll leave for London with a friend of mine.

We have booked a double-room in "chiswick court" hotel;

does anybody of you know something about this hotel?

Are the rooms clean?

Ummm... The reviews on TripAdvisor from people who've stayed there are not very good.

This is what ellafirenze has to say:

"Il Chiswick court è un hotel pessimo.....il peggiore dove sono stata. A colazione la scelta è limitatissima,i copriletto sono sporchi,il bagno è piccolissimo,i quadri cadono......... La cosa peggiore è che in questo hotel ci sono dei ladri di notte (da noi sono entrati in camera di notte e ci hanno derubato molti soldi e soprattutto la carta di credito).questa esperienza è stata pessima......NON ANDATE MAI AL CHISWICK COURT HOTEL!!!!!!!

Peccato perchè il quartiere è carino."

Can you cancel your booking?

If so, look for hotels that are top-rated by TripAdvisor's reviews (on the right hand side of the website page.)

Hello there... you asked for suggestions for other places to stay.

How much do you want to spend per night on your hotel? Bed-and-breakfasts (guesthouses) are usually better value than hotels like the Chiswick.

Why don't you try the Bay Tree b&b? It's in the northern suburbs, so you'd have to travel into town. But everyone who stays there loves it.  http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserRevie...

A hotel that many people also like is the Luna & Simone Hotel in Victoria: http://www.lunasimonehotel.com/

Rooms for 2 cost between £75 and £95 a night. People on TripAdvisor usually say good things about it, too.

Another suggestion I have is to look at http://www.uptownres.co.uk/aboutus.stm but this is more expensive. Rooms for 2 cost from £95 per night but are lovely.

Hi there,

this hotel got really bad reviews on tripadvisor. I haven't been there myself, but the website is great as it gives reviewes from people who have.

Apparently its very dirty, and there are bugs in the beds.
