My teacher told me about her favorite painting at the louvre that sounded very interesting. It is of a women in a white gown drowning and there were people all around her. The dress was so white it almost glowed. Its called something along the lines of "death of the innocent" or "death of an innocent" ?Thanks very much!

Most certainly know as this painting was one that struck me while visiting the Louvre a couple of years ago. The painting is "A Christian Martyr Drowned in the Tiber During the Reign of Diocletian" by Eugène Delacroix.
