  1. i have the SAME prob but my mom gets mad at me for staying up late. id like to know ways to. although i have my own room and i dont care when my mom goes to bed. does she sleep with you?

  2. First off she needs to be waking up at the time she would when school is in session.  Then have her start going to bed 15 mintues earlier every night until she gets to 10pm(which I think at her age should be more like 9pm).

Reading helps also.  Give her 30 minutes of reading time before lights out.

  3. i would start making her go to bed 10/15 minutes earlier everyday until right before the first week of school, she is to bed by 10.  you could also set her alarm clock for early in the morning so she has to go to bed earlier.  also, if there's a TV in her room, get rid or it, or take the remote away after 9.  make her read or listen to relaxing music an hour before going to bed.  and if she doesn't fall asleep by 10 before the first day of school, she'll be soo tired that she'll fall asleep early the next day.

  4. What?  She's scared because YOU fall asleep quickly?  Just reassure her that you'll  stay up until she falls asleep then.  Its best to start her back on her routine a couple weeks before school starts.  Make sure she takes a nice warm shower before bed.  It will help relax her body.  Cut out the t.v. time and other stimulation at least 30 minutes before bed.  She should be fine.

  5. most adults can't fall asleep quickly, so don't expect a child to do it.  put bedtime an hour earlier, get rid of the TV, limit caffeine & sugars before bed.  dim the lights and spend some quality family time before bed to relax the child.

  6. Say what?
