  2. hmmm,yummy question..hehehe..well,these are familiar food from the balkan region..though im not an expert,il tell u as much as i know.baklava n lokum r both sweet delights,some mid-east countries have their own terms for these delicacies also.baklava is like a crispy pastry garnished w sherbet(sugar melt in water),lokum is probably the great grandma of the jellybeans.its a sweet starchy dessert,in turkey they are made in many different variations.kebap,is a minced meat rolls.usu they grill this.its kinda like a burger patti only that its a roll.doner,i have no idea.sori bout that but probably its similar to the kebap.

  3. Those are Turkish and Greek food terms, aren't they?  I just had some doner kabab a couple of weeks ago.

  4. Baklava= Turk original pastry with mill foil filled with honey and nuts.

    Kebap= kind of grill meat dish turk original

    Lokum= althought cyprus got the right of this name Lokum is a dessert or confitery made mainly of starch and sirup original turk

    Döner= literally means rotate but in general is apply to a kind of meat cooking wich consist in colocate several loaves of meat (thin steaks) in a rotating tube and will be cooked while rotating.
