Do you know what kind of Bonsai Tree I Have??

I recently bought a bonsai tree in chinatown for around $20 and i was wondering what kind of bonsai tree it was. Its leaves are spiky like that of a pine tree and it has a good amount. I was also wondering if i could trim it up with regular scissors and how do i water it. thanks!

Would need a photograph. Are you sure the plant is not a spruce, or fir?

You can compare your new plant with ones on this site. Make note of whether it is an indoor or outdoor plant and keep it accordingly. There are also care and maintenance instructions, too.
