  1. Do you live near water?  I believe this might be what I have heard referred to as a "silverfish."

  3. It's a silverfish.  Along with the cockroach, it is one of the most primitive insects living.  It is a nuisance because it eats things like paper and glue clothes and stuff you have around the house.  But it's not as big a nuisance as the cockroach.  It's not interested in our food.

    It isn't a fish it got its name from its fishy flexibility of movement.
