Yes, they help people rehabilitate after a stroke and other debilitating issues.  They teach them how to use instruments to pick up things etc.They make extremely good money.  In other words, they teach these people how to get through the Activities of Daily living so that they can be independent.  Is this what you wanted?

They help people live their lives.  Usually if someone is recovering from an injury or illness, an occupational therapist will help them with making adjustments to how they do things like cooking dinner or taking a shower.

They work with patients to restore "fine motor skills"  where as a physical therapist works to restore corse motor skills
