  1. I haven't got the foggiest. I've got a Merit AND Distinction in Bongos.

  2. It depends on what music board you step sister is doing her exam with. With ABRSM which is the main music board, a pass is 100, a merit is 120 and a distinction is 130. The exams are out of 150. If she is not with ABRSM then I would imagine that the exam board would have similar pass marks.

  3. at least a 3(B) for the best grades in the class try to aim for

    4(A)

  4. When I did it it was 100 marks for pass , 120 for merit, and 130 for destinction

  5. 100 for all grade 1 exams is the level for pass. 120 for a merit and 150 for a distinction

  6. Most boards set the pass mark at 100, usually they don't fail you at grade one to encourgae you to continue.

Tell her Good Luck, your first exam is a special achievement.
