I had tooth #15 pulled because of pain that no one has been able to pinpoint. A couple of months after the extraction I developed a sharp bump on the side of my gum above the #15 extraction point. The surgeon said it was a bone growing sideways and gave it a name beginning with the letter "O". Do you know what this is called and where can I find information? How do you feel about Dentek Comfort-Fit Night Guard? The kind that there is no boiling. I have had #16, #15 pulled and I am now working on tooth #14 which now has a medicated filling. Still the same dull pain. I have been to four dentist, a surgeon and root canal specialist. Any suggestions? Thank you.
