Do you know where I can work and get paid daily?

Im in the Dallas area and Im starting my new job with WaMu on the 14th....however i'm currently not working and that d**n george bush stimulus check has not come yet, so i'm extremely low on funds. sad, i know. I know a lot of places where I can work and get paid weekly, but what about daily? I know that laborers work for temp agencies, but i think that kind of work is a little strenous for women (unloading, carrying large packages, ect.) If any one of you have any ideas please let me know....i'm resorting to selling my furniture (i can but new ones as soon as i start working again). Better yet, if you are in the Dallas/Ft worth area, help a girl out. lol.

Try waiting tables, you can pull $100 a night in tips. Most places will hire you and get you trained in a few days, just make sure you get your ABC license (you need it to serve alcohol in most states). You don't need it to start, but most places give you a month to get it.

contact your local worksource agents there are more than just labor jobs available

Usually every city has a local job service agency. Also, have you tried applying for unemployment?
