If you have plenty of money then obviously Harrods of Knightsbridge is THE place to go, also Fortnum and Mason are a VERY upmarket food store. Everywhere in London will be expensive, but these two places just have snob value!

the olde-fashioned sweet shop (cola cubes, liquorice comfits etc etc) .... opposite Coach and Horses pub in Greenwich market
