Do you know where exactly is being constructed the ALMA Project in Chile ? Are tourists allowed to go there ?

I saw a documentary on TV, but I don't remember the name of this region...

I was amazed by the images and the landscapes...Such an inmense desert at 5000 m of altitude...That's incredible and beautiful, like another planet..

  1. It's Antofagasta, in the north.Check these web pages with all the info. I also saw the documentray on tv, (TVN chilean tv)  sounds fascinating!
