  1. Argos do a 15" flat screen TV for about £80.  I think they're also doing 6 months interest free credit if you pay over £100 as well.

  2. Argos or Curry's. Or try your local asda or tesco.

  3. I can't recommend any OFF-BRAND that would die within 2 years or less...it's a waste of money.  You'd be better off buying him a new game  or CD or MP3 that doesn't break...

    Or a bike.....

    If you can't afford a Brand name like Hitachi, Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic, etc, you can bet the other brands will fail JUST OUTSIDE of warranty expiration and you'll end up with over $500 in parts/labor to service it...

    And if you have to ship it to Viore , ILO Olevia etc to get it fixed add $250 for shipping.....

    It ain't funny when your SON's TV goes POP!  and he looks at you expecting YOU to fix his present !

    Not funny at all.....

  4. argos currys etc but nowadays asda and tesco's do some good quality stuff that dont break the bank.

  5. There's a few things you should know. And it's important you notice this.

    HD and flat screens are different. Flat screens usually have worse picture than tube tvs. BUT people see a 15' flatscreen for $200-$300 and say wow cheap considering large HD tvs can cost hundreds more per inches.

    Consider

    15' = $300

    28' = $1000

    32' = $1,500

    Do not pay more than $100 for a 15' flatscreen. The non HD tvs are tricked to fool ppl into paying $200 or more for c**p.

    Anywhere they sell TVs, like kmart, walmart etc. You can get a cheap brand like whitewestinghouse. But do not get ripped off.

    I also want you to know that when you say cheap small flatscreen, you're buying a tv with standard picture quality, slightly better lighting, but really 90% of the time a troublesome piece of c**p that is scratched very easily, and ages quickly unless you get a good brand. Besides worrying about space, and how you can hang it on a wall, you should probably get a tube tv. Since they are going out of style stores sell leftovers for dirt cheap. I bought a 19' for $13, and a 32 inch truflat for $50. Don't bend to a price just "because it's flat' ppl get suckered into this all the time

    Just bc a tv is flat that doesn't mean it's good. HD tvs are good, and they happen to use flat technology coupled with the ability to present picture in millions of colors, and images over 10x sharper than tvs made just a few years ago with the proper wiring, and device setup. Not to be confused with what youre looking for which seems to be on the level of a low grade pc moniter. Point is if you buy cheap GO DIRT CHEAP because the range of cheap products are all garbage

  6. Currys do a fairly decent one for £79.99 which you cant moan about

  7. Try looking in the sales..

  8. Ebuyer is pretty good...

    http://www.ebuyer.com/

  9. I go to all shops that sell them, and play one off against the other! Telling each one that I can get it cheaper down the road

    Your better going to small shop, they can bring the price down, where as the big high street names won't , good luck.

  10. asda

    ebay
