Do you know who reported a car accident on 5/1/1983 in Daniels Canyon, Utah?

I am looking for the person(s) who found a little girl in pink pajamas on the road while driving through the canyons in Wasatch County early in the morning on May 1, 1983 and called the ambulance. I have been trying to find these people for a long time now, and I would appreciate anyone who could tell me any information. The baby girl was pretty injured and the car had rolled down the side of the mountain. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

So, I guess you have tried the local newspapers....

Your local police department or the news in your hometown would be able to help you and if that fails the library will always have that information in house.

the local (Deniels Canyon) newspaper or county  library would have back issues....maybe in electronic form, maybe just in big bound books. Look up the news stories about the case and also TALK to older staff members there, who might remember the case.

If stories at the time said the person was anonymous and never came forward, there is not much you can do. If they were known at the time, you would get a name, age and maybe town of residence to get you started.

Was that baby you? or someone close to you? someone in the family might have kept some news clippings or know more about the dates of court cases, if there were any.

Advertising in the Wasatch county papers might be a waste of time, as the person was likely a tourist. If you are too far from there to go in person, emailing the local paper and library might still get you a useful response....in fact if that baby WAS you they might make a story about your search, which would bring out a lot of other local memories and knowledge.
