Question:

Do you know why I can't receive or sent invites in 360!!??

I am having a big problem. Recently, I opened a new 360 page as a new name, new email address - yadda yadda yadda.

But!! This new page, allowed me to invite about 5 friends, then all of a sudden the invites stopped coming through. I had friends telling me they were sending me invites, yet I was not receiving them. So I sent them invites, and then they were not receiving them.

So, I accepted the fact that the page I had opened was a dud! and reopened a new page under a new name AGAIN. All was going fine and fantastic, but after about 5 friends again, the invites stopped coming through again!!

My first original page (the one I closed down) never had any problems like this, and I had that page for soooo long.

Does anyone know what is going on with my invites?? Why can't I receive and why can't my friends receive my invites??

Any advice will be much appreciated.

  1. It sounds like you're having the same problem as many 360 owners, including myself.  (See links below.)  New messages, new invites, new posted comments... none of them can be viewed.  It's more than a little annoying.


  2. I am having the same problem, i have sent out invites and people are saying they have not recieved them...the same people have then sent me an invite..but nothing is coming through. Maybe this is the end of Yahoo as we know it.

    Yahoo is in transition getting the new network ready and this is causing bugs every wheres

    You are not doing anything wrong and we need to work around these bugs.

    Put all your friends in a category

    Go to ''mailbox page''

    On the left, click on ''Outstanding Invitations''  or  ''send''

    Manually clean your own mailbox out by deleting expired invitations and old out going messages. Yahoo may not be cleaning them as often or not at all.

  4. This is not a case where you should keep trying fruitlessly to delete messages. It has nothing to do with your computer system either.

    First, you should clear your mailbox of old messages - Inbox, Sent, and Outstanding Invitation folders. Then, try the invitations again. BUT if it doesn't work (the deletion part), then...

    This is a recent glitch that many people are experiencing, where the mailbox is busted except for specific periods of the day. You will see old messages and comments any other time of the day, no matter what you do because at the time the mailbox is malfunctioning.     You can't fix the glitch, but you MAY be able to work around it.
