Question:

Do you know why my ipod is dying?

I bought a 4th generation iPod (gray screen) refurbished.

itunes will recognize it as an ipod and I can restore it, but I can't sync it or put any files in the ipod - "disk cannot be read or written to".

I've looked on the apple site and tried the solutions - absolutely nothing is working.

Is it time to just use the warranty from buy.com and get a new one?

  1. YES before it runs out because it means that the hardrive might be DEAD

  2. Rachel, run, don't walk, to the store and get a replacement!  Then count this as one of those life learning experiences to not buy refurbished electronics. A refurbished chair is okay, but not electronics. Good luck to ya.
