I agree with you. I am no expert at analyzing video, so I can't say for a fact that it wasn't doctored. But from the footage that I saw, I can't help but feel that it was real. :(

It was so heartbreaking to see the footage. I'm still so sad about it!! People say that it was a dead puppy because he was stiff, but it is only natural for puppies to freeze when they are held by the back of the neck like that. And the yelping sound it made when it was thrown off cliff sounded very authentic to me.  It sounded just like a terrified little puppy. Ugh....I can't even think about it without feeling sick. :(

I just know that some people really are very, very cruel to animals. Look at the heinous things Michael Vick did. It's entirely possible that these two sadistic Marines simply enjoy killing things. We live in an insane world, and there are  sickos out there who get off on that.

If the footage is real, both Marines (even the one who watched, laughed, and agreed with the act) should be given a dishonorable discharge immediately and be arraigned for animal cruelty. There is no excuse for committing such a disgraceful, inhumane act.

The video is a FAKE.

"Puppies" don't bounce, they "splat".

It's a stuffed toy, very obviously.

Only a very foolish, weak minded person or a traitor would accept this without questioning it's veracity.

Take your pick and get in line.

P.S.  I heard that YOU ADMITTED to doing it before your YouTube was shut down.  Too bad we can't prove it, Huh?

Well, the appropriate action would have to use a single bullet to put the puppy down.  It isn't that he killed the puppy; it's that he killed it with sadism AND for his and his fellow marines' amusement.  If we had a video a marine looking very sad as he humanely shot the puppy, we would have a very different reaction to it.  Killing something helpless for entertainment is a form of human deviancy that is repugnant.  The fact that he smiles and jokes and laughs, as well as tossing the puppy, is what makes everyone so angry.

This type of willful cruelty will, at the very least, be punishable as Behavior Unbecoming a Marine.
