I dont understand how a coffee tables distance between them could make the experience so different for all five people

  1. I don't think there was an earthquake. It's all a government conspiricy I tell you!!

  2. I slept through an earth tremor in a Tokyo hotel a number of years back. Several people told me the next morning that it had woken them up. I must have been very tired!

  3. three people were drunk

  4. standing vs sitting, drug use vs clear system, tall vs short, nervous person vs calm, tired vs well rested, moving vs still person, eyes closed vs open, eyes focussed near vs far, lots and lots of small differences that can have big affect on how people in same room can perceive such a slight motion

  5. Probably for the same reason that you could put the same people in the room and ask, why some didn't smell a smell or hear a noise.

Get any five people to experience anything, separate them and write down their recollections, I guarantee they will all be slightly different.

  6. Because every individual has a different sensitivity spectrum. Some can detect even the slightest earth movement comparable to what is sensed by the insects and other animals.

  7. Years ago i worked with hearing defected people these folks could feel vibrations[ they could dance to music if the radio were placed on the floor. Maybe the 2 who felt the quake had some of these defects.

  8. Were they corpses on the sofa?

  9. Maybe the magnitude of the earthquake was small and ended at those people who didn't feel it. If its wrong, don't make fun of me.

  10. probably depending on where everyone is standing is the room is big and 1 person is in the corner and 4 is in the middle the 4 might feel the quake because they are in the middle

Why the 1 is standing in a more structural area (The Corner)

By strong wood so he/she might not feel it

It is something no one can prove just depending on where you are at what time it is nothing scientific depending on the earth quake

  11. When you live in an area where earthquakes or tremors are common, you get used to it.

Granted, everyone would feel a quake at 3.1 magnitude and beyond. It would feel like a huge train is under your feet and pounding along.

I was on the 3Rd flood in a building and have felt a quake ripple along.

Plus your furniture, pictures, and hanging light fixtures would rock around.

  12. may be because of the direction you face..So sily answer???  :-)

  13. because the other 3 people were stoned!!! lol

  14. This is a great example of why we cannot prove that paranormal activities exist, people are obliviious and people experience things very differently. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
