Do you let your child wear mascara? My mom is overly ridiculous and says I can't wear mascara and and 12! Everyone else is wearing it and there is nothing wrong with wearing it! Tell me what you think...

wait till your 14 - but i would use liner @ 13, and only lip gloss @ 12

my mom dosent like it when i wear makeup either...

try wearing a little more makeup every day...and she will eventually get used to it....thats what i did and it worked.....

I wouldn't let a 12 year old wear makeup.  I'd wait until 15 at least.  And "everyone else is doing it" is not a good reason to do anything.

12 is too young to start wearing mascara........wait till your 14 or 15.  And not everyone is doing it, try finding some new friends

My daughter started wearing make-up when she was 12, How about you and her sit together and apply some make-up together so she knows your not trying to look too old... or something inapproprate... Good luck

try asking her if you could wear clear mascara, it doesnt make your eye lashes any darker, but it does add defenition and length. also, try asking if you could wear a little mascar to weddings or to church, you know, just on special occasions. once she sees you wont go over board with it, she shouldease up and let you wear it to school=]

as long as you dont overdo it..you should be fine. i was wearing makeup when i was 12 too. try doing your makeup the way u want to but still light and showing your mom that you can do it the right way.
