  1. Yes, please!

  2. Yes, I tend to do that sometimes.  Usually the irrational thinking brings about anxiety and when I feel that, then I know it's time to snap back into reality and regain a more rational train of thought.

  3. Yes - I fall into that trap a lot. I start imagining something happening and then how I would react and a whole scene starts playing in my head. For instance I think of someone next to me in a shop queue suddenly producing a gun and all the things that would happen after that, or I envisagebeing hit by a bus and I begin to plan in my head the frantic calls I would make to friends and family to get help...

My imagination got a lot of practice in childhood: too much, I sometimes think.

  4. LOL  Go over to the politics section, and watch the liberals and conservatives go at it.  Most of them are so far removed from reality that it is nothing short of astounding.

  5. I use imagination specifically for that purpose!

    Otherwise I use Logic.

  6. I have before...but if imagined it, then it wasn't so far fecthed of an action...

  7. Only when I'm dating someone new.

  8. The only place I can be safely irrational, is my imagination!

It's the times, I mostly enjoy my imagination!  It is kind of psychotherapy!
