I have a five year old, a three year old and a three month old. I let the older two have sippy cups, and in the food category, some of those Gerber Graduate things that I put into these little containers.

Since most of our sporting committments are no less than an hour away (sometimes up to 3 hours), I'm afraid that our kids HAVE to eat in the car. I don't mind too much though. I put it this way, they are learning to be responsible (and my kids tend to be really good with food in the car), and I learn what foods are less desireable to car seats!! lmao!

They are only allowed water to drink in general, so water bottles in the car are fine by me.

Only when we are traveling to go on vacation. We only stop for gas, food and bathroom breaks. All other times they can wait until we get home.

YES, I do, but my daughter has strict instructions to put all the rubbish in the bin as soon as we get home.  I don't like leaving empty packets in the car. She's 12.

Originally no, but then when he got a little older I will le thim drink in the car or eat non messy foods like a sucker. I try to limit the food in the car then i have to clean it less. But not liek it matters once you have kids everything is dirty..lol

I have custody of my 15 yr old sister and she eats in the car.

Thats one of my no no's. I guess you could say I am a clean freak, but I don't allow my daughters to eat in the car. Now, if we are traveling a long way, I might make an exception. If we are just going to town or something No!

NO NO NO......... but my son is 3 and that would be a disaster waiting to happen.

I do, but only because sometimes I am so busy that if I didn't they would be missing meals like lunch and snack time.

But my kids are old enough to clean up. If they don't and I find trash and food in the back, they are not allowed to eat in my van again.

They are very good at cleaning up. :)

i do not have kids, but i did allow my nephew to eat and drink in my car. i have also allowed my friends children to eat and drink in my car.  stains can be removed.

My daughter is only 14 months old so im too paranoid to let her eat in the car incase she chokes while im driving, but i do let her have a bottle in the car, or her water cup.

no. i don't have kids.  however I wouldn't allow it because I would want to encourage them to take the time out and sit down and eat.
