I'm Canadian and just got back from Argentina.  The people are well educated, funny and very open and affectionate.  They would prefer you try to speak some Spanish but many Argentinians can speak English.  You'll easily get by.  The price of things including food and drink is incredibly low but the quality is high as long as its local.  BA is a big crazy city that is far safer than American cities but probably not as safe as cities in Canada or NZ.

Sure, why not?!

I've never met one, but even if i did meet one that was really nice and kind, I wouldn't become prejudice against the whole group of people because of that one person. There has to be some nice and kind Argentine people that i would get along with AND others that wouldn't like as much.

Living here in the states?  Never met one I didn't like!  In Argentina?  A gracious and kind people.
