everyone thinks chinese food is JUST rice, chow mein, and eggrolls. i hate all the stereotyping.

i'm chinese and chinese food is like something regular i have everyday.

there's a pretty big variety in chinese food, and i like most of it.

except all the exotic foods like dog, turtle, cat, and all of that

I have tried many ethnic foods. I am from Italy, so I prefer Italian food, but I've lived in France, Germany and the United States too, and I like the food in these countries. I have a new friend from Japan, and I eat some food she cooks. I go to Chinese restaurants some too, and I like most of their food. Black moss soup was not so good, however.

i agree with killa k...its fantabulously fricking awesome! and plus..now they even make soy sauce without MSG!!! so now we can ALL enjoy the asiany goodness!

I love Chinese food and grew up in a prodominently asian neighborhood in Los Angeles, I'm out here in Arizona now and the asian food does not compare so I always look forward to trips back home and all that good food....now I'm hungry.

I'm not a huge fan of the food marketed as Chinese food here in the States (especially buffets) but I watch a lot of cooking shows and there some dishes served in mainland China that look absolutely delicious. Since I don't have the means for such a trip and I don't care for the Chinese government I can't enjoy them. There are a few dishes that I do enjoy that I can get here, I like beef and broccoli and fried dumplings, I also have a weakness for Mongolian Barbecue, Thai food, and Sushi.
