He's not a bad coach, but he calls time outs too late in games. I like his defensive coaching style and his motivation speeches.

Yes, he seems like a really genuine guy. He is more of a players' coach than a strategist and sometimes his in-game strategy is questionable. However, his ability to get all the players on the same page and in a team mindset made him the coach of the most-winningest team this year.

I'm old enough to remember watching him play in high school when he was the best player in Illinois and maybe the country. He has always behaved with class and proven himself to be a good, humble player and person. Yes, I like him a lot as a coach and person. Today's players could learn a lot about how to behave both on and off the court from Doc.
