it's really nice here, shame that half the beach is being dug up.

Sure, nice place, apart from some of the council estates. Oh yeah and the Dock Spur Roundabout, always accidents!Used to visit the beach up by the Spa Pavilion quite a bit in my younger days..

Though I've never been ... and probably won't be able to visit ... it's just gorgeous there. I've just come from visiting a website that allowed for a video clip of the various points of interest. I especially liked this "Landguard Fort", as well as the seaside shopping row. Very lovely.

It's so very much like many of the small towns along our coastline here in New England. Mystic ... which isn't far from me, resembles it greatly!
