Do you like KimChi? the Korean Delicacy?

i can't stand the smell or the taste. But it's weird because I love spicy food. I love some pickled foods also, but this kimchi smells horrible to me. what's my problem?

    It is very hard to eat something that you don't like the smell of.

    That is hard to get past.

  3. It is very strong.  I have tried it once and it was OK.  I know someone who eats it daily, and they always smell like it.  The smell can stay on you for days.  I would try it again.

  10. i find kimchi eatable, i make it as an appetizer served together with rice and any fried food. the first time i ever tasted it, i liked it right away

    wasabi's taste is far more unpleasant than kimchi but i also like it.

    The main ingredients of Kimjang Kimchi are Korean cabbage and radish. Additional ingredients include spicy vegetables such as parsley, mustard leaf, garlic, green onion and ginger. Pickled fish and powdered red pepper are also used to give Kimchi its unique flavor.

    Kimchee contains lactic acids, which are produced as the kimchi ferments. Lactic acid generates a chemical reaction that is effective in curing intestinal disorders. This may be "the smell" (fermentation) that you find offensive.
