Do you like School uniforms? ?

Question

I have to wear a uniform to school, do you? What do you think about them? Do they restrict a kids individuality, or do they just promote equallity? Thanks!

i had to for 4 years but now i am starting a public high school i am soooo glad! i really did not like them at all. i like eing able to chose my own clothing and wear what i want now it is really hard to transition though i think it is a restriciton not a promotion

My answer would be yes, I love school uniforms cause they are comfy and I don't have to struggle every day thinking what I have to wear. But trust me, even though we use school uniforms, people make fun of you sometimes on how you wear them. Anyway, good luck on your first day!

Hate them......they say normal clothes are a distraction and lower grades but places like America do great without them. At least next years uniform is going to be more laid back and after that I get to ditch them all together.........yay =] You guys are lucky who don't have them and yeah, they restrict individuality.

I think School Uniforms could be good or bad

Pros:

you dont have to decide what to wear

you wont be made fun of for what your wearing

however you cant express yourself through what you're wearing and they do restrict individuality.

OMG! I hate them. I have to wear them to so I know how you feel. I dont get to wear to ok skirts and stuff its literally a blue polo and a dark blue plain. THEY STINK!! I only have 1 1/2 more years. YAY!!! I dont think they promote equality as much as they just protect the enviroment of the usually middle school clothes drama. I think they are dumb and good. Like i dont like wearing them but its better then getting made fun of cause trust me i dont have to richest clothes like aeorpostale or hosister or anything. So they are for a good cause.

I don't wear uniforms to school but if I did I would hate them. But I think they're good because parents don't have to buy so much clothes for kids. And also kids don't have to worry if they look good or not because they're basically all wearing the samething. I don't think they restrict a kids individuality though. They could wear what they want on non school days. It promotes equaility because kids won't get made fun of what they wear and everyone would be eqeual. Interesting

i like school uniforms because they make life easier. you dont have to worry over what to wear every day. it blends every one and like you said promote equality.
