  1. I love Scotland because:

    1. It has 80% of Britain's coast, sea and beach

    2. It has mountains and lochs, woodlands and moors, islands and HIghlands, big hearty industrial cities like Glasgow, pretty face cultural gems like Edinburgh, and the secrets cities of Aberdeen, Dundee as well as Stirling and Perth.

    3. It has a unique religious, mystical, artistic and intellectual history.

    4. It realises that Football is just a game, hence the misunderstood philosophy that winners create losers, so they dont mind when they do.

    5. The Scottish intellectual enlightenment brought us antibiotics (Fleming), anaesthesia (Simpson), antiseptic surgery (Lister), radio (Clerk Maxwell), television (Logie Baird), the steam engine (Watt), the pneumatic tyre (Dunlop), teh postage stamp, raincoat, tarmac roads, and a disproportionatelylarge number of other inventions.

    6. No city's people has a heart like Glasgow: every Glaswegian thinks they are Billy Connolly and has a one-liner for everysituation, in fair weather or foul.

    7. No City is built on 7 hills like Edinburgh, with its architectural beauty but with cosmopolitan thrill for only a few weeks of the year during festival times.

  2. idk  ive never been there sorry   but if i went there, i probably wouldnt because i hate the music and men look g*y in skirts

  3. there are aw full people all over the world and its a shame for these folk who are so disruptive and bring us down I am from Scotland and wish we could get rid of these  bad apples who wreak the place society has changed bring back the national service!!!!!and a few other things

  4. well i'm from the states and all anyone knows about scotland is that you have your kilts, bagpipes, and haggis (which is completely gross to us).  however less ignorant americans, which is very few think its beautiful and feel indebted to you for inventing golf.  i just love the fact that most americans who imitate british accents end up doing a scottish one that is not half bad

  5. Have visited the North East. Embo/Dornoch. Found the surroundings fantastic. The people generally like most people.

  6. id love to swimm with the monster :)

  7. As a wee Scottish wifie, I think we are living in the friendliest place on earth. I think it's hilarious that when we go to sporting stuff, e.g. fitba, oor fans just enjoy the occassion, nae problem if we lose. We will party on intae the night anyway!!! Stereotypes?? - perhaps the wee Glesga pensioner wi' the original "shoppin' bag" and "jaggy coat"....I plan tae get both in a few years time!!!!

  8. i don't know whats it like as i live in swindon

  9. Of course *Born and bred*

  10. Well we're English and moved to Scotalnd 4 years ago. In that time we've had our living room window put through twice (once with a rock and again with a fist), I've been beaten up on our doorstep, my motorbike has been damaged, our car has been damaged and my son has been beaten up more times than I can count .... all 'cos we're English. We've had more dealings with the police in the last 4 years in Scotland than the previous 48 years down in England.

So I got a good cause to dislike the Scots ... but I don't, because most are really great people, ruined by a handful of tossers who never grew up.

  11. well.....

I hate people wiv bagpipes and miniskirts.

People say theres a loch ness monster but i dont believe it exists.

I hate mountains and scotland has strange names of places.

    Haggis puts me off !

So NO  I would not like scotland one bit.
