  1. Lived here for 26 years now, reckon that is a good enough answer!!

The food, the people, the climate, the prices, even now its cheaper than the UK is.

  2. yes, its hot and cheap

    whats wrong with that?

  3. The Spanish people are so friendly and the weather is hot.  We normally drive down and there is a certain smell about Spain like oranges and heat.  You drive through France and there is nothing wrong with France, it's beautiful, but you get into Spain and it's so relaxed.  It's so laid back and you get to your destination and that's it, nothing will disturb you again untill you go home.  You do what you want and go where you want with no problems at all.  I love Spain.

  4. its a beautiful country...i am from Spain and living in Florida at the moment...but i plan to move back within the next 2 years...its just such a different lifestyle!

  5. yes, cuz my mom is from there

  6. Well, it's my country (more or less), I like it and I don't like it, it depends on the things.

I like public health and educational system, culture (not flamenco, bullfighting, siesta style of life and that things from the south), my languages (catalan and spanish), cities, humour (but I prefer Monty Python's), sports...

    I don't like Real Madrid.

    That's all.

For the guy who bought a property when prices were at the top: LOL. Before buying something, think a little more. I knew about the falling of the prices since four years ago.

  7. what i like about Spain is the climate the weather the food the people the buildings the culture and the beaches I've only been to Spain once I've been to alicante and benidorm which is a nice place

  8. Yes I adore Spain, I love the weather, the people, the culture, the buildings, the lemon groves, the orange groves, the olive groves. I love the mountains and the beaches, the sleepy villages. I love the shops, the malls, the towns, the cities. Food is cheap and the restaurants good, you can eat out all the time if you want.

Yes, I love Spain. I have only been to the south east in the areas of Alicante and Murcia. Driven all around the area, and love it so much. I want to live there. My friend moved there 4 years ago, and its a better quality of life than in the UK.

Yes, the property market has fallen, but it will rise again, and anyway I will buy your property for £60,000 Pagrine!

    So yes, and thats why!

  9. ye i love it-many parts are absolutely beautiful and apart from one exception (and ive been spain about 20 different times) it is very clean-its got great weather and things are cheaper

  10. Why? Did Spain say it likes me? (Circle yes or no.)

  11. I like Spain but I hate the Spanish people, lucky they have sun and sea otherwise nobody would like Spain. ETA

  12. Well I´m still here after 17 years, so I guess I do!! lol.

  13. I used too before the property market crashed!

I bought an apartment down in the south three years ago for £105K. It is now only worth £60K!!

  14. L:ove it ,,used to live there,,,the culture, life,, food ,sun the list goes on and on

  15. Its sunny!

  16. Friendly people. Nice climate. Sensible tax regime. Less crime. No gangs of hoodies stood on street corners frightening old ladies. What's not to like?

  17. Ohhhh yes!!

Spain is amazing. Ive been to 5 different places in Spain and all of them i have nothing but great memories of!!

The culture, the food, the climate, the sights, the setting, the people, the whole way of life is so much better in my opinion to the one im living in England. Im well on the way to learning Spanish and Catalan, and its my life goal to one day move out to Spain.

So if you are thinking of visiting, i urge you to do so, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Bilbao or Valencia........ all are fantastic!!
