I think he is a good player.  He never gives up and always comes back.   He is a fun person to watch.

I didn't really like him going into Wimbledon because I don't want a country man to win Wimby. I love when the UK is crushed after putting so much hope in one of their players. But I have come to respect his game. He's a great player but now he needs to stay consistent. He was backing up his big talk, getting to #6 in the world, but that first round loss in the Olympics was bad. I am not sure if he will stay consistent.

Don't like him, don't like his attitude and his arm pumping thing really put the nail in the coffin for me. However, with my dislike of Murray to focus on I've now started to see the better sides of Novak. So thats a good thing.

Tennis ken I don't reckon its choking, I think its the fact hes not that good. Hes solid, he has a serve, a forehand, a backhand, and a volley. His best shot would be his return. But the reason Murray wins matches, I believe, is because he has the ball on a string. He retrieves everything and acts like a backboard for the other player. Some players absolutley hate playing someone like this. The frustration of constantly having to hit good shots and then they just come looping back to you can make some people lose their cool. Novak is one of them. Murray could be comapred to Nadal on the backboard thing, only Nadal is capable of making winning play and playing agreessive. Murray isn't, he waits patiently for his opponent to make an error. Therefore, he will beat anyone having an off day.

Murray won't beat anyone having an on day- whether its Bagdahtis or Nadal. He simply cannot beat people who are not making unforced errors and feeling the pressure, hence why he lost to the asian the other night.

If you want proof just look at the stats for him game against Nole, I guarentee there was a lack of winners (and a bunch of UE for Novak).

For these reasons I am probably the biggest anti-Murray person here. Until I see him actually win a match instead of the other player lose it, I'll remain that way.

I believe he chokes a little whenever he has to play for his country, well Great Britain that is. LOL He won't admit to it but in recent years, his performances at Wimbledon, and now this early round loss at the Olympics, has just been mind-baffling.

In 2006 at Wimbledon he came off the biggest win of his life, beating Andy Roddick in the third round, and then in his next match, when everyone expected him to dominate, he fell easily to Marcos Baghdatis in the next round. This year he came from behind to take out Gasquet in that much talked about match and then easily folded against Nadal in the next round. Now he just won his first Masters title and then he bows out in the first round at the Olympics. Anyone see a pattern here? Maybe it's just me, but I believe he chokes when he is facing the pressure of having to play for Britain. Or maybe he does it intentionally. LOL Just kidding..

The things I don't like about him is his inconsistency at times. He will lose in the first round this week and then win the next tournament the next week, and then lose in the first round the other week. Enough already!!! LOL

He needs to control his emotions better when he is playing. He just allows every bad shot to get to him soo much that his mind is never concentrated solely on the next point and the match. His mind is, as I like to say, "all over the place" whenever he plays. He needs to realize that he is a professional tennis player now and therefore this attitude is not helping his game at all.

Finally, he is said to be close friends with Novak Djokovic. Need I say more about that? LOL
