No, I don't like art... I LOVE art :o)  There is a certain tranquility in being able to get lost in someone's (or your own) expressions, whether it is painting, sculpture, music, dance, poetry...  Abstract landscape paintings that exhibit depth, music that communicates emotions that no word can do justice to, poetry that paints with words and splits into two meanings to leave the mind refreshed and working...  

Our society has evolved into one that is one dimensional, only concerned with absolutes that can be "proven" and as such there is a diminishment of the ability to think beyond ourselves. This would likely be in direct correlation with the diminishment of artistic pursuits in our education system, where we should be taught from an early age to expand how we think and express.  There is little patience these days for music that doesn't thump us into arrhythmia or for art that doesn't depict violence or sexual deviance.  People have lost their appreciation for beautiful things and the ability to see the art in nature or the nature in art. Scenes that take your breath away and leave you invigorated inside.  I could go on for a long time on this but this is as nutshell of an answer as I can give...
