If you say you're a christian, can you please tell me honestly that you really enjoy being one. You really know with all of your heart that you're going the right direction and you really love the life you're living. You're so happy to serve God and wouldn't trade it for anything else.

  1. Sometimes it is hard to go against the popular grain, but then again, it is the most rewarding, peaceful, assured, secure, and best thing that I have ever done and ever will do.....giving my life to Christ.  Without my Faith in Jesus Christ, I would live in fear, insecurity, doubt, confusion and guilt.  Being Christian gives FREEDOM, UNDERSTANDING OF GOD'S WORD and PEACE that surpasses human understanding, and HOPE that none can have without it!!  God bless

  2. Why do you think they can't honestly agree to all of that?  85% of the US are Christians and the majority are healthy and happy and satisfied at least religiously speaking with the life they lead.  They have as much right to their belief and to find joy in it as you have to your belief and finding joy in it.  Just because someone has a different opinion from yours doesn't mean they can't be happy and well adjusted.

The extremists in any camp are your real problems.  The only way they can be happy is to force everyone to follow their beliefs.  That's not healthy for anyone.

  3. Being a Christian is not easy.

Mat 7:13   "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to h**l is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way.

Mat 7:14   But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.

  4. YES I DO!!!

  5. Yes, I can honestly tell you that I'm very happy and so very very grateful to be a Christian and have God in my life =)

That doesn't mean sometimes I wish to do other things. sinful things.

And then after a while I realize I don't really want to..

  6. Me a year ago: I was going out literally every night, I was sleeping with whoever, smoking weed, and getting drunk A LOT!! I was a liberal, feminist, atheist.  I thought I was having fun.

Me today: God saved me.  I now try my best to live as christ like as possible.  The weird thing is, I am WAY more happy now than I have ever been.  When you live for God he takes care of you in so many ways.  I put my life in his hands and it is the best decision I have ever made.  I still have some beers sometimes but its all about moderation.  You have to put God first and not let anything else take over your life.  Is it easy? No, but it's the most rewarding thing in the world.  Not only do you feel good about yourself, but God takes care of you as well.  I love God.  I will NEVER go back to the way I was before.

  7. Being a Follower of Christ is not always easy but I wouldn't trade it for the world. All your problems don't go away but it gets easier with God helping and guiding your life. The best thing is knowing your on the right path and heading the right direction in all areas of your life. God always makes things interesting and you start to know his character and what pleases him. Your life starts to have purpose and you see a greater purpose that is beautiful. To follow Christ you must deny the things in this life that make you believe they will make you happy. Of course those things don't make you happy in the end so its really the best way to live anyway. The devils bargain is temporary relief. Drugs, s*x, money. None of them bring you real happiness. Only God does that. Being a Christian is staying away from those traps of temporary relief and doing the right things that lead to overall happiness and longterm happiness. Also, it is easy the fact that I can rely on God when he gives me a promise and he always is providing for me in ways that amaze me. To answer your question I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Jesus said that it wouldn't be worth it for you to inherit the entire world if you had to forfeit your soul. This life is so temporary. We forget its really not what its all about. The only thing that lasts in the world is our relationship with God and the friendships we make.

‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’

                1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV)

  8. Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.

I will say that it is challenging at times to be an obedient servant, or at least to try to be one.  It leaves me questioning my actions sometimes.  It leaves me confused with some challenging scripture that needs serious prayer and reflection Those which some people say are contradictions within the bible.  It means I do not always do the things I want to do.  The things many of my piers are doing, because I want to make righteous choices.  It leaves me reflecting on some of the poor choices I have made and although I know I am cleansed through the blood of Jesus, sometimes I still feel bad about my choices.

All that aside, my answers remain

Yes I enjoy, in fact love being a Christian.

Yes I know with all my heat that I am going in the right direction

Yes I really love the life I am living

Yes I am so happy to serve our God

Yes I absolutely under no circumstances would trade it for anything.

God Bless you and thanks for great questions.

  9. I love being a Christian!  I love going to church, I love living my life for God!  After all he did create me, the least I could do is live my life for him!!! I have no doubt in my mind that I am doing the right thing.  I will be with God someday in paradise, and for that I couldn't be any happier!

  10. Actually yes. I wake up every day, work hard for my God, make mistakes, and lay my head down at night knowing I am forgiven. I eat, sleep, work, play with my kids, kiss my wife and repent for my sins ... not much I can ask from this sin cursed earth.

    Ath

  11. Being a Christian isn't a bed of roses, it has been even more challenging walking with Christ. But it has been the most rewarding and best decision I have made, and I've missed the mark plenty of times and God patiently guides me back on the right road.

  12. ABSOLUTELY!

i have never felt so free in my life!

it was God who found me!

i was surely headed straight to h**l....probably even taking a shortcut!

    God saved me from damnation...honestly!

i have completely devoted myself to Christ......i have died to the flesh and i live in Christ......

Our first birth, on the other hand, was one of spiritual death because of inherited sin. Man in his natural state is “dead in trespasses and sins” until we are “made alive” (regenerated) by Christ when we place our faith in Him (Ephesians 2:1). After regeneration, we begin to see, and hear, and seek after divine things, and to live a life of faith and holiness. Now Christ is formed in the hearts; we are now partakers of the divine nature, having been made new creatures. God, not man, is the source of this (Ephesians 2:1, 8). It is not by men's works, but by God’s own good will and pleasure. His great love and free gift, His rich grace and abundant mercy, are the cause of it and these attributes of God are displayed in the regeneration and conversion of sinners.

i am so overwhelmed by the love of God....its amazing!  i seriously am well taken care of and what a relief to know where you are headed!......

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand."

Praise be to Our Lord Christ Jesus!

    Amen!

    With Love...."D"

  13. Yes I am happy, and no I wouldn't trade it for the world.  I'd die for God.

    god bless you

  16. Yes I do.thank you and since you took most of my answer I guess I'm done.

  17. When I was a Christian I was constantly thinking about where god would put me, what he thought about what I was doing, sin, etc.

It isn't a pleasant way to live.

  18. I have to say that I love Jesus.  He is everything to me.  He gets me though each and every day.  I accepted Christ when I was 29.  When I did, I felt like I wasted those 29 yrs not knowing Him.  I started a brand new life which I never knew existed.   It's awesome to know Christ.

  19. Yes I do.  I have a choice to love God or not, so of course I am very satisfied with my choice to serve a risen Savior.

Just because I love and serve God it doesn't make my life here on earth perfect!  We will never have perfection until we reach heaven!

But I am very comforted by the fact that one day when this sinful earth has ended for me, I will be in paradise with my Savior for all eternity.  It makes it all worthwhile.

  20. Absolutely.  It doesn't mean life is easy as a Christian.  Many times we have to turn from things that look good on the surface-getting drunk, premarital s*x, etc.  But in the long run, we know that we are doing what's right and pure.  I know 100% that when I die I will be in the presence of the Lord.  That is the most peace a person can get in their heart.  There is nothing better than that knowledge and the Holy Spirit dwelling in me.  Because of my love for God, I am happy to serve him...and no...I wouldn't trade it for anything else this world can offer.

  21. I can tell you exactly that. What else is there? Who else is there besides Christ? He loves me more tham my mother and sticks closer to me than my brother. He's always there ready to pick me up when I fall and casts my sin as far as the east is from the west. Where else would I go? Once you've met the Lord and been filled with His Spirit there's no going back and no wanting to. God bless!!

  22. I enjoy it. I love following Christ.

Some people think that when you get saved, your life gets suddenly boring and dreary and you have no fun at all. Well, let me tell you, it's the most fun thing i have ever done. lol. i love it.

And, no, I would not trade ANYTHING else for my salvation or for God. He is my all and nothing will take that away and nothing could bribe me away from Him.

    :)
