I've had both frogs legs and snails but not (knowingly) horsemeat. Both in France and both pretty good. What's the big deal....you eat cow, chickens, prawns, mussels.....? Just because it's 'different' doesnt make it not good!

HORSE meat is a bit chewy, and you can keep the rest.

No, I could not manage to swallow the snail, I had to spit it out.

Horse meat is more common in Belgium, and I found it a bit dry. So, no, I don't like that either. I do not have a problem with horse meat as such. It is meat from an animal that eats grass and is about the same size as a cow.

Frogs' legs sound too cruel and wasteful. I have not tried that.

We have some delights in this country, black pudding, *******, pigs trotters, brawn, haggis...
