  1. to quiet and slow but im up for playing i guess

  2. I suppose I'm among the relative few who would rather watch than play.

Don't get me wrong, I love to play golf.  It's fun.

But watching highly-skilled professionals attempting to overcome not only the physical obstacles the course designer has put in their paths, but also the mental obstacles they have put before themselves...I find it fascinating.

  3. I don't like golf...I LOVE IT!!!!!

  4. its not that much fun to watch, but i hear its really fun to play :)

  5. i dont find it that entertaining to watch at all. but playing is pretty fun!!

  6. yes, kind of. especially with an obsessed golf fanatic as a mother.

  7. No...i just like to waste my time in the golf section

    I love golf!

  8. Fun to play, though I'm not good at it...lol.

  9. I like playing much more than I watching golf, but you can say that about any sport.  I like when a professional hits an occasional awful shot just to show that they hit shots like amateurs do.  I also like the creativity and the skill the pros possess.  I like watching the LPGA as well.  You can learn more about the golf swing by watching a woman play because of the slower swing speed.

  10. You have to play it to enjoy it.

    cheers!

  11. It is fun to learn.

The golf course may seem a fa-off-in-the-future place, where you will not set foot for a long time. But it is helpful to understand the layout of the course to understand what you must learn. When I teach I like to put the pieces of the puzzle together as promptly as possible. Understanding the golf course allows you a look at the big picture, so you can figure out where to put the pieces.

A regulation golf course consists of 18 holes. There are generally three lengths of holes: par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s. The length or yardage of the hole, which will be listed on your scorecard, determines the par. The length or yardage of the hole, which will be listed on your scorecard, determines the par. For our purposes, a par 3 is a short hole, a par 4 is a medium-length hole, and a par 5 is a longer-length hole, which can often look like an eternity to a new golfer.

  12. Fun to play for a two-feet hitter (me), but watching it? No way, it's like playing a game of catch.

  13. Golf is the greatest game ever played hands down and if you put a little time into it you can get good at it and you will have fun for the rest of you life.

  14. Of course its fun and challenging. theres so many different courses you can play, good way to enjoy the outdoors and get together with friends.
