Do you like hardwood floors?

Hardwood floors are lovely and very easy to keep clean.  You know if there is dirt.  With carpeting, it's tough to see.  I live in Chicago and practically everything in the city is hardwood.  My floors have been here since 1913 and have only been refinished once.  They look great.  Can anybody say the same about carpet?  There are other options too, of course, stone, tile, laminate, etc, but hardwood looks great and is a good option.

I do like hardwood floors. They are very nice in a home. I'm not a big fan of laminate though. Depending on the type of wood, scratches can be easier or harder to create.

Yes, but only if the shade matches the room they are in. I have hardwood floors and they are actually not hard to clean. As long as you get a good, strong type.
