Do you like kids?

Question

I can't stand kids. Yes, they're cute, but other than that they are down right annoying! Does anybody else think this way about kids? I don't think I ever really want kids. Lots of people say I shouldn't since of my career plans and that I'm impatient when it comes to children. How do you feel about little kids? What what age are you thinking about getting a child of your own if you do want one?

my kids drive me nuts sometimes but i love kids they are our future, i have five of my own and plan to have more or adopt! but i know alot of people that dislike kids, it's all a matter of opinion! but i think kids are so funny and cute!

I like MY kids but there are some others that are down right annoying.  lol

It doesn't matter what other people say.  If you want kids, then you do, if you don't, you don't.  It's your decision and don't let others make you feel bad about it.

BTW, I was 27 before I had my first child.  I think the longer you wait, the more patient you are.

Don't have one if you don't like them....they are the best but alot of work.  If you aren't ready for it then don't have them.

no i am toatally with u on that i dont ever plan on having kids and every one tells me the same thing about the matenal instinct and all but im impatiant too and i kno there is just soo much that goes into having and raising kids an di just dont think i am fit to do that plus i have no interest i have a cat and shes so much fun and she came potty trained lol and shes never gonna grow up and talk back and misbehave and i dont have to worry about if shes going to get hurt while shes out with her friends or any of that but i still get a cute little bundle of joy with liek a quarter of the responsibilties plus i dont kno how to act around kids they make me feel all awkward and weird like well what if they hurt them or make them cry just no no no no i am not having kids

no, they get in the way and are kind of annoying. but some are cool. the ones that don't wine i like.

I became a mother at 25.  I wasn't sure if I could handle being a mother, and believe me, there are rough days!  However, I love my child like crazy, and I like her most of the time!  I think a properly trained child can be enjoyable rather than annoying most of the time, but I would encourage you to wait to have children until you are ready.  No child asks to be born into this world, so we parents are responsible to give them the best life possible, and if you aren't ready, it won't be fair to the kid

lol...i don't mean to sound like a jerk, but i really don't like kids either. i find them very annoying too. everyone says it's because my "maternal instinct" hasn't kicked in yet. maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong...but for now i really don't want kids. if things go as planned, i want to have kids at about whe i'm 29 or 30.

Kids can only do what their parents allow them to do that's why I don't mind the kids but can't stand the parents

I love young children more than anything. I cant wait until I'm old enough to have them! But everyone has their own opinions. I'm going to wait until I'm in a stable marriage, and a good income, and then have children.

I believe that children are a blessing from God and I can't wait until I have one. I'm 29 years old and hope to get pregnant soon. I believe that if you wait until you are older you enjoy them more because you have more patience. By all means if you don't like kids don't have one. Wait maybe you will have a change of heart. Children are such a joy.

each to there own but if you don't like kids why tell the world i for one like children they bring you lots of joy and my life would not be complete with my son and now i am having a girl to can't wait to do it all over again but i don't like very naughty children where the parents don't care what they are doing.

I like kids in general. I love and , yes, even like my own children! lol

Other kids are fine. They don't annoy me or bother me. I'm pretty impatient, too. Once I became a parent I learned to be more patient.

I always have liked kids, though.

If you feel that you don't- then don't have any. I always wonder, though, people that dislike kids... I mean, you realize you were a kid once, too?

I love kids, but I can understand your impatience with them. But I also know that once you have one of your own you begin to see them in a different light. Parenting is the hardest job you could ever have but it is the most rewarding as well.
