I was bored, so I thought of this exotic concept car idea. I think it's really cool when unlikely car companies make high performance cars out of the blue, so I picked Buick. I know most people will think it's dumb, but I think it would be pretty sweet!

Buick X9

A sleek, futuristic looking rear engine, rear wheel drive super car.

The engine: 4.8 Vortec V8 running a supercharger for low-mid rpm boost and a turbo for mid-high rpm boost. They both produce 15psi when activated. The engine will have factory shorty headers and performance mufflers for a nice sound.

It will produce 525 horsepower and 665lb ft of torque.

The transmission is a 6-speed manual overdrive with a short throw shifter.

The car will also have many luxury features and be comfortable at all speeds.

It will have an exclusive price of $175,000.

What's your exotic car idea?

  1. I like thinking of cars in my spare time, mine are nothing too fancy but it's still fun to do.

As far as I'm concerned, the turbo would NEVER make it. GM uses almost nothing but superchargers last I checked. Cobalt is supercharged (okay just learned that 08+ are available turbo, Corvette ZR1 is supercharged, etc. I certainly never see turbos mix with superchargers.
