I made a poem about Ruffian. I think it's pretty good!
Now I don't want to be a poet or anything. I am just bored and wanted to make one on her.
So enjoy and comment me about it!
Ruffian : The Filly
The colt and filly,
Lunge from the gate,
Nobody knew, this match-race;
Would end in such fate
They scream for the filly,
As she roars down the stretch,
Foolish Pleasure right beside her,
As they stay stride for stride;
Ruffian's jockey,
Better get ready, for a life-changing ride
They go around; the final turn,
As the crowd goes wild,
But they have yet to learn;
That the big black filly,
Has broken down.
Her leg is cracked,
Her ears now pin,
Everyone knows
She was going to win.
The big black racer,
Now lies in the ground,
Where fans go to see her,
And they always frown.
They can not believe she now is gone,
From one mis-step; is when it all went wrong.
