Do you like my children's names?

Hello, I would first like to tell you that this is not Erin, but her pal Dina. I am using her account because I don't have one and it looked rather fun!

I have four children.

A twelve year old boy named Keith Lawrence Rose.

A nine year old girl named Alice Francis Rose.

A six year old boy named Henry Keagan Rose.

And a three year old girl named Louise Martha Rose.

My children were named after relatives in our family, some of their names.

Keith Lawrence- Keith we just loved and Lawrence was my husband's father.

Alice Francis- Alice was my husband's mother and Francis my choice because I thought it was classy, modern, and pretty, it fits her just perfect.

Henry Keagan- Henry was a name my husband and I both picked out and Keagan was my husband's step-father.

Louise Martha- Louise and Martha were my ideas and I love them.

Lol okay Dina, i like em all. they have a special meaning and thats all that matters. they're ur kids. i'm stephanie. i was named after my grandmother. and i love my name because of that.

Honey these names are bland in todays culture, but maybe it's good you didn't name them trendy names that are getting overused. I dislike Keith, Alice and Louise the most, Henry is the only one I like. Francis would have been a better first name. Lawrence is just awful. They do sound like old people. But you already named them, and you are the one that has to say their names all day.

Why would you post their last names on here??? I hope someone deletes your question to protect your children.

I like them. They're not my pick for names, but who cares? And I agree with jlg_tm--celebs are getting so weird! Who names their kid "Apple" (Yes I know--Gwen Paltrow...I know). Traditional names are here to stay!

Oh--and don't use full names! It's the Internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The flow of all the combinations is off slightly,  but I really like that overall the names are fairly traditional. Alice is one of my favorite names, as is Henry.

I think her children's names are lovely, with the exception of Francis, which sounds very masculine to me. I absolutely LOVE Alice and Henry. Keith and Louise are alright, just not my personal taste.

I think you should be nicer to your family. There is nothing wrong with her children's names. They are actually quite dashing and mature, certainly a gem in today's society.

These are very traditional names.

I am sure half of these names could be found in the bible.

I personally pick names based off of the meaning and energy I get when the name is combined, but I like to avoid the name that will appear over and over again in school.

My daughter this year had three Matthew's and two Adien's in her class of 21.

My children's names are Mia Dawn. Mia means mine. Dawn is daybreak. Thus to me it is my new beginning.

My son's name is Troy Augustus. Troy after the Roman City, and Augustus was one of the Caesar’s. We wanted a very powerful name.

I believe the name of the child helps to define their personality.

I have two different friends each with a son whose name is Chase. They are always running around after them and cannot sit and chat.

If she likes them that is great personally I would not like the names if I was a child. It also depends where you grow up. For example the city might be harder on them then the country.

Keith and Henry aren't too bad, although I wouldn't choose them.

I prefer Alicia to Alice. Alice is a wee bit too plain for my liking - unless it's pronounced the Italian way - which I think is beautiful.

Louise is ok for a middle name, but I don't like it for a first name. And Martha - well - it's just too "old" imo.

I agree with one of the other ppl who answered, I think there is too much info, the kids first middle and last names and the grandparets names, theres sick ppl out here that can find out who your cousin is bcuz her first and last name is here, they can find out who and where her kids are, theres internet predators, stalkers, they can find out what school the kids are at, they know their names and ages, etc. maybe i'm just an over concerned parent......
