My mom used to raise birds and we handfed quite a few.  She had to take them to work because they eat like every 2 hours.  We used a &quot;formula&quot; that you mixed with water and warm up then feed with a syringe or medicine dropper.  Make sure you do your homework on how to feed them or they can have a lot of problems and it is a lot of work, check out this helpful link:

a nest box will not cost that much. think of hand feeding a bird like a child. lots lots lots of attention, keep very warm (incubator like), and hand feed with syringe. that stuff is what costs...adulthood for cockatiels is 12 weeks.

It is hard to visually s*x these tiels but from the photos they are good looking!!!! just go to any local pet store they should have tiel nest boxes for ave. $10 fill it with a bit of pine shavings and let them do their thing. When parents are feeding young give them lots of fresh brown rice and lentils with lots of fresh water also they will stuff the babies with the fresh foods you offer like you would not believe! WATCH OUT FOR YOUNG ONES YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW WERE HATCHED BURIED UNDER THE LARGER STRONGER BABIES...THEY WILL HOG ALL THE FOOD AND LET THE LITTLE ONE STARVE.

the birds u have are nice there both males the grey one is a normal gray male this is the main and you have a heavy pearl pied which is the yellow and there both males the yellow one if it was girl would be little dimmer
