if you like parrots what kind do you like just want to know

I like parrots, I have a blue headed pionous parrot .They require a lot of care [wing trims ,claw trims, balanced diet,etc. ] but what Max "demands" is" all "of my attention he gets very jealuos of my husband ,our dogs and even the cat,this is my fault because when we first got him he had been left alone  all the time and was very mean and bit people. so I made it my job to let him know we  loved him,well he got spoiled ,riding on my shoulder every place I went around the house and yard .We even started taking him for car rides which he enjoys . and he even bonded with the cat , and the dogs to a certain extent.but if I had it to do all over again I would  NOT have another  bird when Max goes to birdie Heaven  he won't be replaced  birds are messy and can be unpredictable no matter what the experts say no two birds are the same so if you are going to get one or already have one ,be prepared to be a bird parent because they are just like children . P.S. he just got mad and bit Daddy on the toe ,because he got too close to the metal dog dish ,he is in love with the bird he sees in the dish [his reflection]

Yes I like parrots, I have an African Grey called Bob, he is 19 months old. He's very friendly and loves having head rubs.

I like all parrots but prefer the Grey because of its ability to mimic, mine barks at the dogs, and says hello when the phone or the door bell rings, they are really amazing.

I love parrots.  My friend and I used to breed them and we have raised everything from budgies on up to macaws.  We just don't have time for breeding right now.  Even now I still have 3prs of breeder cockatiels, 1 pet cockatiel that I raised, a blue quaker that I raised for my daughter, a budgie (just a pet store bird) and an african grey .

i have 7 birds. my fave is my blue crowned conure, hes so smart he even lets himself out of his cage!!! and he talks he can say alot of stuff. hes hilarious

Sry, I forget what the name is for this particular breed, but I love them :) I love their bright and colourful plumage.
