i love them i do not why lots of people hate them please type in what you think

They are one of my favorite pets! I absolutely adore them. They are literally perfect, with not too much maintenance involved, yet more than enough love to give back in return :)

Most people that do not actually know anything about them. Thier parents or grandparents might have preached to them about how dirty and dangerous they are and they grew  up with the idea as a child. The TV also usually shows rats in a stereotypical manner as discusting and horrible. The problem with people is thta they are usually pretty lazy. If they do not have the true facts, they will never do everything they can to really make an educated decision. They will just accept the first thing they hear and live with it.

But I personally have "converted" some close-minded people about rats when I lured them into my home, and suddenley pulled out a rat on them. LOL they were terrified at first, but after the rats would kiss them and let them hold them, those people admited that they were wrong.

i don't really like them because i just think they are gross and the ones outside well you can catch a disease from them oh ya and one time my mom was taking out the garbage and then she herd a noise and she thought it was coming from the garbage can and then she saw it in the garbage can and then she ran inside and just forgot about it.So i don't like rats either.

I love rats and I love that people who know my rats end up liking rats instead of the usual "eww you have rats"

They are smarter and more cuddly than you think people lol

They are the best pets you could own. Actually, rats AND dogs are. Rats are basiclly small dogs. lol. They are sooo sweet.!!!

personally i think theyre cute, but most people hate them and consider them "pests" especially if wild ones are in your house. I heard they can bite though pipes! crazy eh?
