  4. the box on quakers has salt in the ingredients but i never add salt i always add sugar and i make it with water and it turns out perfect! so, no i don't.

  6. I love salty oatmeal. I don't know why, it just gives the oats a better taste. You're not the only one! :)

  7. A lot of people do but don't realize it.

    All of those instant oatmeal packets are loaded with salt.

    Me, I often make oatmeal and add peas, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, flax oil, stir fried veggies, or whatever.  It's just a grain like rice or wheat etc. so it's good to eat it that way too.  I also eat it plain with malt too.

  11. No, why salty?...sweet with milk.  Grits, now that's more like it, butter, pepper and lots of salt!
