Do you like school or not?

I think school is kind of stuffy and uncool, but I would like to know what other people have to say about going back to school this August 7th .

I am sitting in class right now.  I use to hate school.  I came very, very close to not graduating high school because I never went.  After 8 1/2 years in the military, I realized that the people who get the furthest ahead in life have the best educations.  I have been in college for the last year and a half now.  I am doing very well and because it it, I have started to love school.

Even the learning part is fun when they are there to make you laugh!! x

I like going to be with my friends and stuff, the learning part of school can be boring, but my teachers were wacky and I laughed sometimes..but it can get REALLY boring. It's hard to say it's uncool, because most people your age probably go to school. =P But, hey. When you get older and you need a good job, school can come in handy.

PS: Ha-ha! I don't go to school until September 7Th.

I went to school between 1950 and 1964 and when they tell you it's the best days of your life they aren't wrong. Just imagine. For 14 years I had loads of highly trained and intelligent people cramming my head with all sorts of information and knowledge that set me up for the rest of my life. My attitude at school was that this was the only opportunity I will have to get my one big chance to shape my life and I took it. Because of the qualifications I got I was offered a job in a bank where I rose eventually to the position of Manager and after retiring from there am now employed in the Treasury Department of a Local Authority. My education has given me years of enjoyment and appreciation of the fine things in life, art, music, literature and travel and enabled me to write three books. My advice is for you to take full  advantage of what is being given to you at school. Of course there are always those who don't grasp the chance, skip lessons, goof around and leave to unemployment or a dead end job and grow up dumb but I'm sure you don't want to be one of them. Good luck and stick at it.

i hate all the pressure that is put on me but i love doing sports like tennis and all my extracurriculars and seeing my friends
