I'm homeschooled and I LOVE IT! its awesome. i have lots of homeschooled friends and public school friends.

I'm homeschooled and I love it! I spent the past month traveling around with my boyfriend and some of our other blind friends, visiting colleges, riding horses, learning to cook, taking apart computers, hacking software, growing a garden, and learning sound tech skills while practiing my music. I even took up a new instrument (my fourth) and that was in this month alone. (boyfriend and i are both blind, by the way). ANd all the while I had the rest of my school work with me and could take it and do it wherever I needed to. When I get home I'll have a whole new set of chemistry supplies and equipment waiting for me and will start on a few new labs, mostly for fun and to further my learning in chemistry as I've already finished that course for the year. Then it's off on the road again to a youth leadership academy in Baltimore and later on a convention in Jacksonville. I love the freedom. I get so much done and still have time for so many enriching activities and social opportunities. It's great

Yes I like being homeschooled and I have found that I can learn almost anything by myself now without teachers.
