  1. It depends on what time it is. I like going late at night when theres not too many people. I nipped into Tescos yesterday afternoon and it was way too busy!

  2. it's easy and chear than smaller shops plus better choices and everything in the one place.

but they are noisy and waste a lote of energy with their freezers etc

  3. Yes I get to see, touch and feel before I buy. And I get a break from my regular busy routine.

  4. Yes, because I like to people watch and see how different people behave in there enviorment/

  5. I can imagine lonely people or those eager who want to be within and part of a crowd [or gathering] and wanting to shop in these places.  I guess it's a sense of community - people together - almost like a church - safety in numbers [an animal trait of the human-anaimal]?

When community working is taken away from animals/humans - they become terribly lonely. So a mental resolution [psychologically] is for them to want to gather and participate around masses of other people - and a supermarket is an ideal place.  Nightclubs/parties/festivals are of the same principle as already explained.
