Do you like all the coverage or are you more geared to sitting down and seeing the green flag waved 15 minutes later to start the race

  1. I typically turn it on at the beginning of the race broadcast to see the fly-over etc.

Every race usually starts 15-20 minutes into the race broadcast.

The only 'Pre-show' I sat down to watch on purpose was the Nationwide one when they featured Carl Edwards when he rode his bike from Columbia MO. to Gateway and then won the race. It was the week after the Gateway race.

  2. I love NASCAR RACEDAY!! But the ESPN countdown could be 30 minutes or so.

  3. I would rather have a 30 minute pre show before the race.

  4. Sing the anthem, pray the invocation, give the most famous words in mororsports history, get to racin!  That is it!

  5. I hate the pre-race show, it gives us the watered down version of everything we already know evey detail of.

  6. I think the pre-race shows are ok - but I really am more of a "wave the green flag" kinda girl

  7. even with jimmy spencer and kenny wallace, i still really like "raceday" on speed tv. i could live without the additional hour pre-race show on espn - limit that to a half-hour.

  8. it is a 30 min. pre race show right after the 2 hour 1 on speed

  9. Just get to the racing.  I don't need to know some drivers life history or most of the stuff they cover.  Just give some background of the track, who is expected to do good, and a few updates on the weeks NASCAR news.

  10. i sit to watch a race and interviews with drivers, not watch dumb blondes who think they can dance waste my time.

  11. I quit watching the pre-race stuff. I turn the race on ten minutes before it begins now.

  12. I find it simple to just not watch unitl I want to.  Wah lah!

  13. I'd rather just wait until we're ready to go green.  The pre-show is a lot of BS that you can find, if you really want to, on NASCAR.com or at the least, on the internet.  Then you have the annoying ride with one of the commentators around the track, as if you really learn anything from that.  I think they just do that for their own selfish purposes so they get to drive a racecar.  "Your time has passed, now back slowly away from the car!"

  14. my time is geared for the start of the race. give me 30 mins to get ready and then drop the green. anyone that watches nascar also gets the news on the website. don't need to see them talk about the same thing for 2 hrs ie: who's good, who's bad, and who's going to win or not.

  15. About 30 minutes is all i can stand only if they are talking to the drivers, if not..WAVE the GREEN!

"Gentlemen Start Your Engines"  words I want to hear, then

    GREEN<GREEN<GREEN!!!!!
