  1. I have lived in the UK all my life and I really hate it.

I love love the people, especially around where I live. Most people are polite and smiley... I think Brits are stereotyped as being posh and boring, but it's really not true. Just because some of us are conservative it doesn't mean we're not interesting people :D

But I can't stand the weather!! And after going to capital cities like Paris and Madrid, it kind of made me think how awful London is... It's really dirty and although there are pretty buildings (Big Ben) you can't really compare it to Paris.

I am proud to be English, but I'm moving somewhere hotter and prettier as soon as I finish Uni.

  2. yes i do i was born there the UK much better off than most countries the UK has had a long history of races mixing into the British genepool the British Empire was the largest Empire

  3. It's not all that but it's home. If only we could drag the whole place to the Carribean like they do in that crisp advert then it'd be a whole load better.

  4. Yes. I was born there

  5. I think it can be a very likable place for foreigners and the majority of natives. But ive lived here since birth and to be honest i'm abit board of living here now. I'm sure thats not the same for everyone but thats just my take on the subject.

  6. I love the people but fed up with the country, politicians have destroyed it.

  7. yeah, i was born in rotheram. i dont live there though.

anyway, i live in the peak district so its nice and calm with really cool scenery too. and there are loads of walks to go on and stuff to do. and what i really like is that i can just easily go on the bus into town (its a small town called bakewell) and hang out with my friends on the weekends if i want. a lot of people say its boring and i'm sure its just what everyone else has seen before and i know thats true but i still like it a lot.

  8. The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether

    I love living in England.

  9. Yes, all 18 years of my life!

    Its brilliant.

  10. Love it! Planning on moving there by next year to be with my Fiance! I need out of the US!

  11. There is no better place. Its dry, its wet, its hot, its cold. Best of all its friendly and funny.

  12. Not anymore, its finished. And I am born and bred here.Leaving this week, to move abroad.

  13. I love the UK. I went there last summer and fell in love. The corner shops, public transportation, GBP, Jaffa cakes and Magnums, and the people were nice, most of them anyway. I wish I could move there!

  14. I was born in London and for all it's faults England/UK is the best in the world. (taking everything into consideration)

The grass always looks greener elsewhere but....................

  15. There are some things I love about the UK. Our sense of humour, footy, cricket, living in London, great cities, beautiful countryside, our summers (when the sun is out!) different accents around the country, our history and heritage, our place in the world, our tolerance. But the things I dislike are too much tax and not getting much for it, ridiculous property prices, rubbish expensive transport system, too many cars on the road, rising crime, lack of morals and respect in some young people, the increase in greed and selfishness I've seen in some people, obsession with celebrity culture, the feeling that if you're honest and work hard you get screwed over but the work shy and asylum seekers get everything laid on for them. Oh I could go on! Thing is, I can't think of anywhere else I'd want to live :)

  16. I live in Northern Ireland and I love the UK

England is my favourite country of the UK

Love it. Don't care what anyone says about c**p weather, I think it's a great place to live.

  17. Yes. Why? I was born here

  18. Yes. From Zummerset to Och-aye, this old Kingdom's a marvelous place!

  19. Yes, because it's home

  20. No.  I am born and bred brit but I am not a patriot.  Moody, busy, depressed people everywhere with no personality...crappy weather...a terrible government that never does anything significantly beneficial to the country...a failing police force...ridiculous criminal justice...one of the most expensive countries to live in...on top of that theeirs the taxes...which get given to your average council estate joe...nah, i want to move

  21. No, NO NO NOO!!!!

i live here and it sucks... the weather is crappy...

The people... don't even get me started... everyone hates everyone.. no-one is civil

  22. I was born here, as were my kids as were my parents but I have so say this crime ridden, expensive cess pit is starting to hack me off.

Property costs at least twice what it should do, petrol is a joke now. I am a plumber so at least the likes of Canada and Australia will welcome me with open arms if it wasn't for the fact that my Mrs wont ever leave her extended family.........It aint going to get any better either

Dont get me wrong, it isnt all bad. Our sense of humour, BBC Radio, Rugby, Football, Cricket are great but its the bad things you remember............
