Is it worth the trouble to travel to the ocean when you live in the Midwest?

I LOOOVE the beach! I think it's worth the trip. Make a little vacation out of it. You won't regret it!

I am not much of a beach person....I like to walk the beach, but don't like to sit and bake in the sun.

You have some great beaches in the midwest along the shores of Lake Michigan
