no.  it leaves too much on the line that it once had.  AWD.  Turbo.  pizzaz.  right now the accord coupe and altima coupe are faster and handle better... but watch out.  there is talk that the next gen one will be almost a coupe variant of the evo.

I do, but I'm biased because I have a 2007 Eclipse spyder GT.  I don't agree with all the people that are so hung up on the turbo eclipse's of yesteryear.  My car destroys any of them in stock form even with all the extra weight and FWD.  I will admit AWD would be nice but this car is built a lot better than previous gens.  I think if it were turbo charged or supercharged and ran the same numbers then nobody would have a problem with it.  The RA does look sharp though!!!

Not really. It's too curvaceous almost like a loaf of bread. There are talks that the Concept RA is the next Eclipse. It has 4 wheel drive derived from the Evo and some other go fast gadgets. The Eclipse has lost it's pull on the hard core car enthusiast when the turbo was dropped from the line up. Hopefully, it comes back.
